Yes I placed a lot of new defenses so when ever they come any unwanted energy is sucked in and digested out into good energy which is added onto defenses making it stronger

Isn't guaranteed safety If you manage to grab pieces of the veil or so and manipulate it like really small pieces to make it work for you and let you use your astral power in your place but not enemies than it would be sufficient but you would need a feeding system the veil is already a parasite so have it feed upon any bad entities or energy around
